Store Closure

Dear Valued Customers,

There are points in time when we must all make decisions in order to adapt to a changing world.

The winter season has not been kind to many small businesses along with a declining dollar, a nine month strike in the US and on line shopping and yard sales have impacted the Garden to a point that Mario and I can no longer maintain the 70 Lacewood location.

We have made the difficult decision to close the Brick and Mortar store front as of July 1st, 2015.  We will then take some time to create an on line store and look for a more cost effective commercial space to move to.

For the most part over the next couple of months it will be business as usual, new shipments will continue to come in and I will be posting sales and selling off bits and pieces from the back room known as the “vault” in order to streamline things for a brighter future.

Spring Fling Classes for Truro

The following classes are being offered at the Spring Fling Crop weekend in Truro and is open to all, check the date and time for each class

Photo Transfer to Wood

This class is being held in 2 parts to allow for drying time. Part 1 will be placing the photo on the wood plaque and applying pressure to dry overnight. Part 2 is reveling the photo and wood and then decorating to finish.

Class requirements: You will need a LASER copy of a photo of your choice, I did mine at staples and I had them do it as I didn’t like the quality of the “do it yourself” machines. A couple of disposable brushes, heat gun, glue gun, extension cord and any memento that you already have that you would like to decorate your piece with. I will be bringing the items that I have used along with a variety of inks and paints. A roll of paper towels or a clean cloth and an empty spray bottle will help greatly to speed up the class time!

**Remember when you copy the photo if there is writing it will appear backwards on the wood, if there is writing you will have to mirror the image on the computer first**
