Good Afternoon crafters. Here are a few more cards that I created this afternoon at the crop at The Cutting Garden today:

I created these cards with some new dies that Kim is carrying at The Garden. They are called, Fancy Flip-it’s card and Circle Flip-its card. They are from Sizzix. I used the Flourishes stamp set called, A Guiding Light that I picked up at The Garden. The paper is from the Basic Grey paper line called, Oliver. I used my colored pencils and Gamsol to color the images.

Good Afternoon Crafty Friends!

Please join us on June 21st from 6:30 to 9:00 pm for this elegant card/envelope making class. Lisa is taking it up a notch with this lovely trio.  During this class you will learn the basics of painting, shading and sponging with the OH SO popular Tim Holtz Distress Inks!  Along with this, Lisa will teach you how to make the perfect finishing touch to your cards with a custom matching envelope!  Here’s a look at the projects we will be creating…

This first card is a Double Z Fold….

Next up is a regular Tent Fold using the beautiful Flourishes Lenten Rose stamp set and matching envelope which is painted using Tim Holtz Distress Inks…

Our last project is an elegant little shaped note card again with a matching envelope… 

The cost of this class is $20.00 and your basic kit including scissors and adhesives are required as well as your Martha Stewart Scoring Board, if you happen to have one.

Who’s up for a Stamp A Stack??? Kim, Mel & Lisa had a play day a while back and our objective was to develop a fun Stamp A Stack day for you all!!! We have set aside June 23rd from 9 am till 4 pm at the cutting garden for a marathon card making Stamp A Stack day of fun!!! You will be going home with 24 Beautiful all occasion cards! Bring your loonies and toonies because we will be having not One but TWO 50/50 draws throughout the day! Also Kim has offered up some fun prizes to be won! She’s generous like that!! We will be breaking for an hour for lunch, you can brown bag it and hang out with the Lady Bugs or head out to grab lunch, what ever is easier for you! Just a reminder ladies…. you need to bring your basic kit and LOTS of adhesives! The cost of this day long event is $50.00 cash only…. ($25.00 non refundable cash deposit is required upon registration) We have 24 spots available for this so give The Garden a call at 444-9990 to reserve your spot right away!!! YARD SALE AT THE CUTTING GARDEN!!!!!! The Cutting Garden will be hosting a yard sale next month at store. Date: Saturday, June 16th, 2012. Time: 9am-5pm All participants who wish to have their goodies sold must contact The Garden((902) 444 9990) for a item code for your items. Your labeled items and a master list of the items must be at the store no later then by closing on Thursday, June 14th. All items need to be labeled with your specific code that Kim and the bugs will provide with the cost for the item. It is a cash only sale. The total value of your items sold will be tallied up and you will be issued a gift certificate in the value for The Cutting Garden. Leftover items will need to be picked up by Monday, June 18th. Anything left is going to be donated to HomeBridge Youth Society for the Youth’s programming. Hope to hear from you soon!
