What’s Up at The Garden for National Scrapbooking Day

Good afternoon crafters, I hope you are all having a great week so far and it is almost over.  As most of you may know, Saturday May 4th is National Scrapbooking day! Kim has a fun filled and packed day at The Garden.

First of all, Rebecca is putting on one of her FABULOUS classes from 10-2 pm.  She is doing one of her canvases that always knock me over and this one is no exception.

Here is a peek at what the ladies will be creating:

rebecca

If that isn’t enough, Rebecca will then be putting on a demo at 2 pm with her Silhouette Cameo.  This machine is just awesome.  It is a great machine and the possibilities are endless with it.  This is a free demo.  If memory serves, Kim has one is stock at the store though they are so popular these days, it won’t last for long.

Kim has been busily receiving new items in the store this week, The Garden is LITERALLY busting at the seams with all the new goodies.  She has brand new paper lines from My Minds Eye, Kaiser Craft, Fab Scraps, and Echo Park, just to name a few.  She received an order from Buttons Galore & More.  A new company for Kim that our friend Tracy Mclennon currently designs for.

Which leads us to the BEST thing about Saturday, Kim is offering a TAX FREE sale Saturday!!! This sale excludes the Cameo and class fees.

Drop in and spend some time celebrating a wonderful day at a great store!!!!!

Well, Lisa has been at it again with another Masculine class  for you!

Check out this amazing new stamp Kim brought in…

Whale Cove 1

I know, it’s wood…. but for all of you who are conscious about storage space and wooden stamps, she brought it in, in clear as well!

Please join me on Thursday, April 25th from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm to make three masculine cards.

These cards are finished on the inside as well and as an extra bonus, we will be making custom envelopes for all three as well!

Here are the projects we will be making…

Whale Cove 2

Whale Cove 3

Whale Cove 4

The cost for this class is $20.00. A basic kit will be needed to complete this class, including scissors, trimmer, and adhesive. If you have a Martha Stewart score board it would be really helpful if you bring that along as well.

We are so excited.  It is such a wonderful opportunity for The Garden and bugs.
